AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Week One (first 7 days after your session) - Keep your brows as dry as possible.  This includes avoiding your brows while washing your face and while showering.  Clean your brows separately by gently wiping them with a damp cotton ball or round.  Do this 3 to 5 times daily during this first week.

  2. You can resume your normal facial routine after the first week. Avoid using facial cleansers or moisturizers that contain any acne or anti-aging ingredients on your brows directly. These can cause fading.

  3. No swimming, heavy sweating or tanning for 2 weeks.

  4. No exfoliating or harsh cleansers on your brows for 4 weeks.

  5. Apply a thin layer of grapeseed or coconut oil to your brows ONLY AS NEEDED, do not make a daily regimen. Only use a small amount, over saturating the brows can blur your strokes and effect your results. If you feel you don't need the oil at all, that is fine as well. If oil is used to ease any itching or dryness, please be sure to cleanse your brows before you apply each time. No oil should be used once your scabs have peeled completely.

  6. Your brows will begin to oxidize immediately. This causes the pigment to become darker. Don't be alarmed, this is normal.

  7. Around day 7 to day 10, your brows will be fully scabbed over and they will start to peel. Do not pick or lift any scabs or dry areas that may form during the healing process. This may cause you to lose color or damage your skin.  Instead, apply some of the grapeseed or coconut oil.

  8. Over the next 4 weeks, other fading or loss of pigment may occur. Flaking off of pigment is normal for some skin types.

  9. Once your scabs have come off on their own, your strokes/shading may seem to have faded or completely disappeared. Don't worry, the strokes/shading will re-appear closer to the 4 week mark.

  10. Once you are completely healed at 4 weeks, your brow color could be about 30-40% lighter and any pigment loss or imperfections you may have can be addressed at your touch up appointment. The healing time is the entire 4 weeks. Fully healed results will not be seen prior to this time. So please be patient and trust the process.
